Good evening everyone.
It's the central market.
It's cold and raining.
An acquaintance of mine in Florence is secretly job hunting.
She currently has a job, but she decided to change her life because of this COVID-19 pandemic. It's been about a year, but she still hasn't found one. She's been doing remote interviews with Japanese companies in Italy, and I thought she was great and encouraged her. She recently started using a job hunting agency, and she said,
"There will be fewer companies hiring from now on."
There are more job listings in Italy in the summer, and fewer as winter approaches.
She's not having any trouble making ends meet, but she wants to step up soon.
I've been supporting her at every opportunity. I like people who are working hard to change their future. Well, it's partly because of her age, but I've already made a lot of money, so I'm thinking of letting the rest of my life go by, but she's still young. She's got the drive, and I think it'll work out.
"It doesn't have to be Italy, right?"
"That's right. Once you've decided on Malta,'
That's great, working in Malta sounds fun. But I'm not keen on it because it's an online casino job. First of all, my parents don't like that kind of gambling work. I'm not that keen on it myself. I learned for the first time that most of the job offers in Malta are of this kind.
She said that Estonia or Cyprus would be good, so I told her not to go to Estonia because it's the time of year. I agree, missiles are scary. She said that any country would be fine, Italy would be fine, or Japan would be fine,
I told her how I really felt, ``Japan would be a waste.'' We all agreed that it would be more interesting to go somewhere overseas first, since Japan could be our last resort if necessary.
As for me, I've written a resume, but I hardly ever use it. The first place I started working in Italy was here at the Central Market, and I'm still doing that now. I didn't even submit a resume. So, I took my guide job to a few companies at first. From there, I got introduced to other companies by senior guides I met, and that's still going on. I didn't bring a resume with me. So I feel confident that she's aiming to move up, and I hope she does well. By the way, she said that AI is now apparently writing resumes for you, which is convenient. She exaggerated it a bit to make it more Italian.
